The Temper Trap discography highlights:
The Temper Trap was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2005 by Indonesian-born vocalist and guitarist Doygy Mangadi, drummer Toby Dundas and bass-player Jonathon Aherne. A bit later, Lorenzo Sillitto was appointed as a second guitarist.
At first, the band was supposed to be called Temper Temper, but since a band with that name already existed in the US, The Temper Trap was chosen.
The band released "The Temper Trap EP" under Liberation Music label in November 2006 Scott Horscroft being the producer. Horscroft had previously worked with artists like "Silverchair" and "The Sleepy Jackson". The track "Sirens" from the album was featured on Electronic Arts video game Rugby 08.
The debut full-length album of The Temper Trap was called "Conditions" and it was released June 2009 under Liberation in Australia and by Infectious Records in the rest of the world. The album is produced by Jim Abbiss. The album reached the US Billboard 200 Album chart spending two weeks on the chart and peaking at number 175. The first single of the album was the track "Sweet Disposition" which peaked at number 17 on Billboard's Rock Songs chart spending the total of 24 on the chart.
